Based in Elk Grove, California, Brad, a native of Sacramento, has been a professional photographer since 1983. His passion for photography started at a
young age when he received his first camera for a school field trip to the State Capitol. While in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, Brad
continued his passion for photography. After his discharge in 1983, Brad enrolled at Sacramento City College where he majored in journalism and joined
the school newspaper, "The Express", and became their photo editor. While a student there, Brad won the state competition of Community Colleges spot news
photo for the photograph of Bishop Desmond Tutu, the South African Aparti Leader. While attending school, he worked at Coronet Portraits photographing
high school seniors while learning the art of portrait photography. After Coronet Portraits, Brad went to work for Loranger Studios. There he learned the
art of wedding photography in the old master style. Taking his journalistic training and combining it with the wedding style he learned from Bob Loranger,
Brad developed his own unique style of capturing weddings. Brad has also worked in various local photo finishing labs to continue his knowledge of
photography.
